Some folks are a bit worried about the whole "Germaine going bald" thing. Germaine will get back to normal soon enough. Consider the germaine crap a "phase" she's going through. At this stage she's just revolting against the idea of what people think she should be. (Which ironically, is what this post is about). After like, 6 years of being abused as a Goth chick, she's kinda had it and would rather be a fat bald chick than deal with the bullshit that comes with being "attractive". (Doesn't anyone remember the "I want to see Germaine Naked" requests?) Her character is pretty anti-establishment and the bald thing is just taking it to the next level. She's revolting against the idea of what "Goth", "Punk", & "Emo" should be. Since all the genres have been massively watered down over the years, she'd rather not be associated with the whole group(s). Goths & punks came to be because they rebelled against the norm. Now that goth & punk have become acceptable forms of fashion... what do people do to rebel against the "rebels". It's really quite fitting for her character if you think about it.

With that being said, next episode I'm posting is a rant, so things will be getting back to normal with Foamy. Germaine will sort of evolve over the next year or so.

And for those worried about the tech-support guy losing his job.... isn't everybody? He will be returning in probably around 2 months or so, so again, don't worry.
