New Foamy / Old Foamy

New Foamy episode posted on YT, will be on NG soon!


Also for those a bit irritated by the influx of older Foamy episodes on NG, sorry about that. I'm not here to take your spot on the daily's. I'm just making sure the Foamy episodes, which are no longer welcome on YouTube, are available somewhere for fans of the show. So I'll drop it down to 1 submission a day rather than 2.


Again, sorry about that. I've just worked really hard making sure all the Foamy episodes were upgraded to HD, and was SOOOOO close to having them all available on YouTube until the great cartoon culling of 2020.


For those who don't know, recently I've had about 15 years of content gutted from YouTube, and I've been really eager to make those episodes available again for everyone. :(

So apologies if I took up a spot with an older episode from ye olden days of Newgrounds.


Hopefully the 1 submission a day will be a good compromise for everyone. :)

That's a fair compromise, though I personally enjoyed having multiple episodes re-uploaded everyday. I'm just thrilled these cartoons are returning to this platform.

You owe much of your success to Tom and the Newgrounds platform. Your 'upgrades' contain links to drive traffic to your accounts on other social sites. Yet, when you post on Twitter, it's always YouTube promotion. No mentions of Newgrounds.

Here's a compromise. Stop shitting on Tom's lawn. In exchange, SatanBrain will come to your house and lick your shoes clean.

er, I quite literally tell everyone on YT to go to Newgrounds for this content. Also on Twitch, twitter, facebook, Patreon... (Though I did forgot Instagram.) So I'm probably driving more traffic TO Newgrounds then away. :)

You are right! You mentioned NG on Twitter on August 14th to say you were rolling out the upgraded vids here. And before, there was that reply post in December of 2018! I'm sorry, dude.

I generally try to push people towards NG pretty much every Twitch stream & Podcast recently, with links to NG in just about every episode on YT for... probably 7 years. Trust me, I'd rather have viewers here then on YT. Unfortunately, most viewers just don't want to switch over. As much as I mention NG... it's like... difficult for them to make that additional click. At least posting the old content here, that's no longer allowed on YT gives them a bit more incentive to make the move. :)

Thee fact that you're having this dialogue shows I've been a bit unfair with my assumptions. I also get that you're trying to build your brand and the reality is that those other platforms have more users that you can't force to come here.

I just think that since Newgrounds played a large role in putting you on the map, it would be really cool if you reminded your audience more that NG needs their support in order to keep providing opportunities for young animators who wish to follow in your footsteps.

I'm sorry for the snide comments. I blame the meds. :D

Nah, I get it. As far as you know I could just be some schmuck cloggin' up the portal with old crap. So I understand that perspective, and I don't take any offense to it.

You do have a point, and I'll try to work in some more posts for NG on various platforms in an effort to get folks back on here. I think a lot of the problem is people on YouTube have just been stuck on the platform for so long that they don't even realize there's other websites with better content out there.

Hopefull the older episodes I've been posted get more people over here & help support. And again, sorry about posting so many of them over the last few weeks. I really didn't even think they would impact the portal due to being ancient by internet standards >_<

I'll probably reduce submissions to every other day or so. Kinda wish I could bypass the portal and just make them available on NG all at once so it's accessable to fans, but doesn't disrupt anyone's posts. Kinda would be ideal for everone I think, but I'm not sure it's possible. (If it is, let me know) :)
