Foamy on Spotify? For how long? Doh! Feeling a bit clueless now... (Fixed it - now following.)

I know you get a lot of hate from people on NG, but with the Bits series, it's even worse. You're now posting twice as many movies, but putting in a quarter of the work.

Why People Like Foamy's Bits:

- It's the same old Foamy everyone loves still.
- Still just as funny as the older toons.

Why Others Hate Foamy's Bits (as opposed to older Foamy videos):
- They're shorter, with ~15-30 seconds instead of ~1 min for regular episodes or 3-5 min for rants (this is generous given the outro often take up more than half that time. Without it, some "bits" go for 7 seconds.)
- More simplified visuals, it takes way less time to draw and animate
- AI backgrounds (or I assume that's AI).
- They still win Daily awards (your last one won 1st place), beating out higher effort submissions. This is the main issue everyone has with your series.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be making the "Bits" anymore. I, like many other NG users, just think they're not a good fit for Newgrounds, especially when compared to.

If you want to soften the blowback, you can either
a. opt out of awards like you did the reuploads and comic dubs,
b. upload them only as a compilation once a year,
c. just don't upload the "Bits" to Newgrounds.

Nobody cares about your whining. How about producing something of quality instead of harassing old animators?

I'm not the biggest fan of your work, but I encourage you to keep making it if you want, plus you still have an audience after all this time which is no easy feat. I also noticed the improved animation, great job on that!

However, I really wish you would stop using AI generated backgrounds. They clash with the new character designs, and if you take a look at them for more than a few seconds it's easy to notice a bunch of weird stuff going on.

Lamps fusing together, clocks floating in air, chairs melting into the walls and floors, and much more.

Artists are worried about this stuff replacing them, despite still in its infinite stage and riddled with errors. I think you should use this as an opportunity to bring artists on board to do the backgrounds, to help fightback against corporations trying to replace them, especially during the WGA and SAG strikes going on now. You can find plenty of artists right here on Newgrounds to work with, and many will do it for little to nothing.

Just my two cents, but I believe you're in a good position to help keep artists busy, especially since your legacy and reach will really help get their names out there for more potential work.

Do keep doing what you do, though personally... if content starts to get stale, it seems like it might be time to try something new entirely. This seems more a manner of simplification than real matter of new creation. Gotta get that spark back somehow... do you really have it? Is this what that spark produces? When I look back at the old work and compare it to the new...

Just doesn't feel like the sparks really there. Like it's more a chore than a creative ardor of love and all right now.

Ganbatte though! Hope you get those pinch nerves fixed too.
